The Sublime Line

Originally exhibited at The Sharjah Arts Museum in 2018, this series of works centers on historical rotational symmetry, often seen in architectural spaces such as mosques or palaces across Islamic cultures from the 15th century onwards. These pieces play on a contemporary viewpoint of that symmetry, deliberately leaving it incomplete so that the lines inherent in the work can be seen clearly.
